Infrastructure Deliver Manager, Infrastructure Delivery Team

The Infrastructure Delivery team is looking for a Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. The Infrastructure Delivery Manager manages the implementation and delivery of inbound capacity and equipment.
If you would like to use people skills and technical knowledge and apply them to delivering on-time, defect-free service, we'd like to meet you. Your work will help to create sustainable processes and standards; and drive automation opportunities to reduce delivery cycle times and to improve quality without impacting network availability.

Inter-site Travel (Santiago Metro Area): Frequent travel between locations required during 2025-2026. Key job responsibilities
The Infra Delivery Manager will:
  1. Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, project management, coaching and creating documentation.
  2. Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages.
  3. Manage the installation network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.
  4. Guide, train and educate staff on the best practices related to all service owner issues.
  5. Manage tasks and deliverables across small to large-size projects.
  6. Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs.
  7. Provide weekly report to the data center manager.
  8. Coordinate team resources to support project and delivery needs, to include emergency projects, change management and maintenance window support, and potential off-hours and on-call needs.
  9. Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  10. Host weekly staff meetings.
  11. Drive compliance to Amazon performance management requirements.
A day in the life
  1. Manage the daily operations for installing and delivering network equipment and related infrastructures; driving low voltage structured cabling across the Amazon data center platform.
  2. Oversee their development and growth of their team.
  3. Tracking budgets, providing strategic direction and proposing technical solutions.
  4. Solve problems at their root and step back to understand the broader context.
  5. Installing and delivering our network equipment and related infrastructures to improve effectiveness through process innovation.

- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in IT related areas.
- Proven 3+ year experience with managing diverse teams.
- Proven ability in driving and managing metrics/KPI's with a high degree of organization and detail-orientation.
- Incident and Vendor management experience with Security and Health & Safety awareness.
- TCP/IP networking, network cabling, optic types, and test equipment knowledge.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- This position requires travel between sites and International.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years in a data center technology role.
- Experience with building physical data center such as copper/fiber cabling.
- Experience developing operational metrics to drive efficiencies.
- Experience in contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within a deployment/build environment.
- Experience with lean methodologies and Six-Sigma or similar qualification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, technical writing or business justifications (white paper experience).
