Job summary/Role description:

Each Assistant reports to the Supervisor of the relevant discipline. They collaborate with their own Supervisor in directing Subcontractor activities within the assigned area. They serve as the first interface between the Subcontractor and the Site Organization regarding Project standards and specifications, acting as the first controller of the Subcontractor's activities and the quality of their work.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate subcontractor activities within their area, including intermediate and final inspections and tests;
• Evaluate test results, the validity of certificates, and related reports, informing the Supervisor of any defects;
• Ensure Construction works comply with Project specifications and related standards, adhering to the Quality Control Plan;
• Document work quantities performed by subcontractors and prepare the construction monthly progress report;
• Review the detailed activity plan for their area and compare it with work progress.

Person Specification:

Knowledge & Qualifications:

• University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in piping/insulation;
• Experience in similar roles on projects of comparable size.

Skills and Abilities:

• English language proficiency is a plus;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Strong communication, team-oriented, and interpersonal skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Self-motivated with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
