Middleware Cloud Specialist

Overview As a Middleware Specialist, you are expected to be highly skilled in solving complex critical customer issues. You will perform assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and report to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis. This position is expected to be a point of contact for customers and lead Oracle employees when in need of expert technical advice. Responsibilities Candidates are encouraged to apply if they have experience in some of the following areas: Deliver advanced technical solutions for Middleware stack, and cloud architectures. Lead or participate in migrations and modernization projects for Middleware solutions to cloud environments. Implement, configure, and manage integration services and orchestrations on Middleware platforms in cloud and hybrid environments. Automate deployment, configuration, and management processes using DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef). Ensure security, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery for integrations and cloud components. Perform patching, upgrades, and regular maintenance for Middleware and Cloud platforms. Monitor performance and availability, diagnosing and resolving complex integration, connectivity, and cloud-related incidents. Write and maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and configurations. Provide post-sales technical guidance and act as a primary technical reference for customers and internal teams. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, autonomy, and technical excellence. Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and optimization skills. Qualifications Career Level - IC4. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent is a must. At least 6 years of related experience prior to taking this position. Working experience with Middleware technologies. Proven experience installing, configuring, and tuning middleware products such as OSB, SOA, OHS, OBIEE, OAM, OIG, OUD, or equivalent products from other vendors. Working experience in IaaS and PaaS technologies is required. Working knowledge of middleware technologies and related tools. Knowledge of Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Terraform is required. English (spoken and written) is a plus. A Computer Science or similar Master’s degree is desirable.
