Environmental, Social, Health and Safety (ESHS) Lead We are looking for an experienced EHS Engineer to support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management across solar and energy projects . The role involves working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure full compliance with health & safety standards and local regulations across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities Provide EHS support, guidance, and technical advice across solar, PV, BESS, and energy projects under execution. Implement and monitor the EHS strategy, including project EHS planning, audits, and customer communication. Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and safety controls across construction projects. Drive incident reduction initiatives and lead incident investigations, delivering detailed reports to management and customers. Ensure compliance with BS OHSAS 18001 , ISO 14001 , and local legal requirements, including surveillance audits follow-up. Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, lifting plans, and construction phase plans prior to construction activities. Deliver EHS training programs (IOSH, H&S awareness, and related courses). Participate in safety meetings and support the ongoing development of health & safety representatives. Work closely with project managers to provide EHS technical solutions and risk mitigation strategies. Requirements Degree, diploma, or certification in EHS / Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience as an EHS Engineer in project-based organizations. Experience in solar PV projects, BESS, or energy-related fields . Strong knowledge of BS OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 management systems. Solid understanding of construction, mechanical and electrical works, and PV park operations. Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills. Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Team management skills and flexibility to travel as required.
