We're on the hunt for a new Senior Data Cloud Engineer for one of our R&D teams working on the Technology IT Area.

As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be:

  1. Build High level technical design both for streaming and batch processing systems
  2. Design and build reusable components, frameworks and libraries at scale to support analytics data products
  3. Perform POCs on new technology, architecture patterns
  4. Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and Technology stakeholders
  5. Anticipate, identify, and solve issues concerning data management to improve data quality
  6. Clean, prepare and optimize data at scale for ingestion and consumption
  7. Drive the implementation of new data management projects and re-structure of the current data architecture
  8. Implement complex automated workflows and routines using workflow scheduling tools
  9. Build continuous integration, test-driven development and production deployment frameworks
  10. Drive collaborative reviews of design, code, test plans and dataset implementation performed by other data engineers in support of maintaining data engineering standards
  11. Analyze and profile data for the purpose of designing scalable solutions
  12. Troubleshoot complex data issues and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issues
  13. Partner closely with product management to understand business requirements, breakdown Epics
  14. Lead development efforts with other junior developers

You’ll need to bring:

  1. BS, BA or relevant experience
  2. AWS or Azure cloud experience
  3. Python
  4. SQL High level proficiency
  5. DevOps from start software development mentality
  6. Data movement via server-less technologies

We’d be thrilled to hear that you also have:

  1. Snowflake
  2. Kafka
  3. AWS Glue
  4. Oracle/SQL Server
  5. API integration experience

  1. Ability to work independently, demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to escalate when necessary
  2. Evidence of the willingness and capability to share knowledge openly with others.
  3. Remains calm under pressure and can handle multiple tasks at any one time
  4. Has great attention to detail and accuracy in what they do and takes pride in delivering a high-quality output
  5. Must be team oriented with a 'Can Do' attitude
