PHA Sales Specialist – Victaulic Since 1919, Victaulic has led the industry in mechanical pipe joining innovations. We continue to grow our outside sales team and help sales representatives build successful careers with a global leader. Location: Santiago, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile Responsibilities Understand the construction cycle and successfully influence decision‑makers to maximize sales potential. Launch Victaulic’s innovative new products into the territory, boosting market transition to new technologies. Develop an annual business plan in conjunction with the sales manager to support opportunity mapping, company sales goals, strategies and forecasts. Implement promotion plans (group presentations, Lunch & Learn sessions, training seminars, branch visits, installation tours) with managerial approval. Maintain a hands‑on presence at job sites for training, ensure proper installation and report lessons learned to improve future construction efforts. Identify and pursue major construction, expansion or retrofit projects with Victaulic sales potential. Manage all phases of project pursuit: from design and bidding to commissioning and after‑sale follow‑up. Coordinate activities with regional market specialists, other sales representatives and Venathon partners. Maintain a balanced distribution network and sustain lasting industry relationships with clients, prospects, and distributors. Stay attuned to market trends and competitor activity, and make pricing recommendations within guidelines. Improve customers’ written specifications for Victaulic products and gather complete quotation requisitions. Lead inside sales, engineering and support staff to meet customer requirements. Report on activities, progress, market information, and new ideas. Integrate into local trade organizations and professional associations. Track and report expenses and other relevant data as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred. Previous sales experience in value‑added products/services, preferably in mining, PVF (pipes, valves, fittings) or mechanical products. Demonstrated achievements in sales. Ability to develop and nurture long‑standing relationships. Solid project management skills. Self‑motivated, confident, and resourceful. Strong mechanical aptitude. Experience with HVAC or Data Centers. Creative problem‑solver. Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional image. Willingness to travel overnight as required by the position and territory. Team player, competitive, flexible, and resilient. Strong organizational and time‑management skills; able to work in a virtual setting with minimal supervision. Affable, engaging personality. Ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally. Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions (snow, heat, mud, rain). Fluency in English required.
