The Job
We are looking for a skilled and disciplined Senior Python Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and reliable solutions using modern frameworks and tools, with a strong emphasis on object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
What You’ll Do- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Design, implement, and optimize service-oriented architectures (SOA), including Microservices and Serverless systems.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code rooted in OOP principles and advanced architecture patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver robust features.
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability in backend solutions.
- Document designs, code, and processes to facilitate team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with expertise in Python.
- Strong understanding of OOP principles, with a solid background in OOP languages such as Java or C++ before mastering Python.
- Hands-on experience building scalable systems using modern frameworks like FastAPI.
- Proven expertise in implementing SOA, Microservices, and Serverless architectures.
- Experience integrating APIs and working with diverse frameworks and systems.
- Fluent English (C1 level) for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Agile/Scrum mentality and a team-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
