About the Team / Position We’re creating a new innovation centre in Santiago. The Sr. Data Scientist will own the core of our product – the accuracy, intelligence, and speed of background checks performed worldwide. Mission Be at the heart of our business by building smarter, faster, and more efficient background‑check logic. Every optimization you implement directly impacts millions of candidates and the company’s outcomes. What You Will Do Scale optimisation – design and implement advanced strategies that dynamically balance cost and response time while maintaining accuracy. Next‑gen fraud detection – build models that spot anomalies, prevent identity fraud, and protect the platform before human review. Strategic technical voice – translate complex business goals into precise mathematical problems and solve them with code. GenAI at production scale – leverage large‑language models and GenAI frameworks to automate insights, prototype predictive models, and build production pipelines. What You Should Bring Advanced English proficiency – you’ll discuss ideas with VP‑level stakeholders in the U.S. 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Analytics or ML, ideally in rapid‑growth tech or B2B SaaS. Strong education in Computer Science, Engineering or Data Science, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of modern MLOps and data CI/CD is a plus. A passion for GenAI tools that accelerate data exploration, rapid prototyping, and workflow automation. Fast‑moving mindset – you release, learn, iterate, and thrive on speed.
