Our client is a multinational company, specialized in Mining, Power Generation and Infrastructure.
Descripción
Reporting to Mining Manager, his/her main responsibilities will be:
- In communication with their current Mining Company partners (not only Chile but Americas), collect necessary information for our customers and/or provide information to the mines, identify and respond to problems in advance, and contribute to smooth business.
- Collect necessary information not only from the Mining Company, but also from surrounding players such as ports, agents, logistics providers, etc., and through various media, business trips and share it with relevant counter parties as appropriate.
- Keep abreast of market information, always foresee the future and develop countermeasures.
- Understand the role of each different office of the company and communicate as necessary.
- Communicate with all players in Americas, not just existing counterparts, to swiftly identify opportunities where the company can perform functions. Both in trading and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, consultants, legal, tax firm to analyze from all angles whether such opportunities are commercially viable. A report is also required to summarize the key points of the information provided by those experts so that the relevant parties can make a decision.
- Prepare and manage annual budget in cooperation with the Direct Supervisor.
- Understand the nature of the business and offer support to the Senior Manager.
- Required to have a business trip locally and internationally.
Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer)
We are looking for an Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineer with a similar degree with experience in Mineral Resources, especially with knowledge in the Copper market. Also with knowledge in Export, Import and Logistics Chain. Specialized in Foreign Trade. Communication capacity and good level of interpersonal relationships. Teamwork, proactive and goal oriented.
