Job Title: Anfitrión (a) Located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Santiago, this role is part of the F&B Service department. About the Hotel Mandarin Oriental, Santiago is an oasis in the city center with a prime location, excellent restaurants, an impressive outdoor pool, and stylish décor that offers peaceful views. The hotel boasts 310 rooms and suites and hosts a range of dining venues, including Nikkei dining in Matsuri, Italian cuisine in Senso, and light snacks and beverages in Atrium Lobby Lounge. About the Role This position is responsible for giving a friendly and warm welcome to guests, handling telephone calls, and managing customer circulation across the outlets. Establish the first contact with guests entering the outlets Assign tables and recognize regular guests by name Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service in accordance with outlet standards and ensure customer satisfaction Control order flow in each outlet Receive and seat guests according to the Department Manual of Operations Answer telephone calls, receive reservations, and address client requests according to the Department Manual of Operations Provide courteous and professional service at all times Maintain productive relationships with peers and other departments Adhere to the hotel’s hygiene, health and safety policies Maintain a high standard of presentation at all times Understand and adhere to the hotel’s internal regulations Use the computer system to maintain and update the database of regular guests Know and understand the A&B products in the menu, recommend combinations and upsell alternatives Keep the work area and surroundings clean and organized Daily request for guest stay registry and identify special needs and orders Maintain constant communication with the waiting staff regarding immediate section needs Read the daily bulletin board to stay informed about the day’s work Qualifications Orientation to luxury service and customer service Availability for 5x2 rotating shifts, 40 hours per week Advanced English Benefits Supplementary insurance Free meals at the colleague restaurant Laundry service for uniforms Recognition and reward program for colleagues Learning & Development program Wellness and social events Various discounts within the property Legal & EEO Esta oferta se enmarca bajo la Ley N.º 21.015 que incentiva la inclusión de personas con discapacidad al mundo laboral.
