You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails .
- Proven experience with GraphQL , building and maintaining scalable APIs.
- Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Skills for writing reusable Ruby libraries that may be used in expressive ways.
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful.
- Experience with popular web application frameworks ( Rails ).
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Experience with CSS, HTML, and Tailwind.
- Experience with SQL Server.
- Highly attentive to details, curious, and communicative.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable systems.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, security, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Build, install, and share gems and plugins.
