Position Summary / Career Interest Liberty Hospital, now part of The University of Kansas Health System, is seeking a board‑eligible / board‑certified Pulmonologist to join its dedicated team, where we prioritize collaboration, community care, and patient‑centered excellence. Responsibilities This role involves a blend of outpatient care, inpatient rounding, and ICU responsibilities within a group of four pulmonary/critical‑care physicians. It requires managing a 20‑bed open ICU with EICU coverage available from 7 pm to 7 am. The team has access to resources including CT surgery, pulmonary rehabilitation, a sleep lab, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy. Call rotation for this individual will follow a 1:4 schedule, and there is an opportunity to collaborate with nurse practitioners.
