Staff Psychologist

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) , a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval , award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Duties The Women's Health Psychologist serves within the Health Psychology Section of the Psychology Service, South Texas Veterans Health Care System. The position provides integrated psychological services to women Veterans across the lifespan, with emphasis on reproductive health, perinatal and menopausal mental health, sexual health, trauma-related conditions, and couples functioning. The psychologist works as part of interdisciplinary specialty medical teams, delivering evidence-based assessment, treatment, consultation, and education in outpatient medical settings. This position will be at least 60% couples counseling . Clinical time is typically 75-100%, with limited administrative, teaching, supervision, and research duties as assigned.
