ABOUT THIS ROLE

We're seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our IT department at our corporate office in Santiago, Chile. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of software quality.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Collaborates in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions.
  2. Responsible for performing risk and impact analysis and making recommendations for associated solutions.
  3. Provides quality assurance estimates for resource and project planning purposes.
  4. Executes system and regression tests.
  5. Creates test data and maintains regression test suites.
  6. Good knowledge of SQL and TFS.
  7. Good knowledge of automation test tools.
  8. Identifies potential process improvement areas, suggests options and recommends approaches.
  9. Responsible for developing strategies to improve and automate certain procedures during implementation and testing phases.
  10. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
  11. Mentors junior team members on applications and job functions.
  12. Represents management or lead at status and technical meetings, as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of professional experience.
  3. Good knowledge of relevant computing platforms and automated test tools.
  4. Intermediate knowledge level of C#/SQL.
  5. Good knowledge of multiple department applications, subsystems, and functions.
  6. Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies.
  7. Good knowledge of company and department standards.
  8. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  9. Strong project and time management skills.
  10. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  11. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to a diverse range of customers.
  12. Must be able to maintain a healthy work environment.
