Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely SEVIS records for all F-1 students, including enrollment status, address updates, academic load changes, and program information. Implement SEVP policies and institutional procedures established by the PDSO, ensuring full compliance across all assigned responsibilities. Issue, update, and maintain Forms I-20, including initial attendance, extensions, transfers, reinstatements, and program changes. Monitor federal updates and SEVP guidance to ensure alignment with MIU’s processes and student communications. Attend and participate in on-site and virtual inspections conducted by SEVP, DEAC, CIE, and other government entities or accrediting agencies, whether scheduled or out of cycle. Conduct quarterly audits of F-1 student files to ensure completeness, consistency, and SEVIS compliance. Identify at‑risk students (attendance issues, academic concerns, or status violations) and elevate cases as appropriate. What We Are Looking For A professional who operates with integrity, discretion, and sound judgment. Strong commitment to FERPA compliance and federal data privacy regulations. Ability to support and advance the objectives of university leadership in an efficient and professional manner. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
