What is this role like?

We're looking for a motivated, experienced and smart Product Analyst to join the dynamic and growing data science and product team This role offers a unique blend of analytical rigor and strategic thinking, where you'll uncover insights that directly influence product development, optimize marketplace performance, and enhance advertiser success. You'll have the opportunity to work with user behavior analytics, making a tangible impact in a fast-growing, AI-powered ad tech space.   • Embrace the "sports team" mentality of Topsort - work with product, engineering, and sales teams across geography to deepen knowledge of sales, exchange learnings, and earn deals.
  • Be a subject matter expert: know everything about the ad industry, Topsort's products, retail media market landscape, and stay on top of the industry trends as you will be speaking with very knowledgeable customers.
  • Partner closely with customer success and sales teams to gather customer feedback and translate it into actionable product requirements and enhancements.
  • Analyze customer behavior, usage data, and feedback to identify patterns and trends that highlight problems or opportunities. Develop data-driven solutions that directly address client needs and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights about user behaviors, product performance, and market trends.
  • Create and maintain product performance dashboards that monitor key metrics, including user engagement, retention, growth, and churn.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing findings, recommendations, and actionable insights.
  • Work closely with product managers to identify opportunities for improving existing products and developing new ones based on data.

What you'll own and contribute

As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for helping drive the development, optimization, and growth of Topsort's products by analyzing data and delivering actionable insights. You'll work closely with product managers, data scientists, and designers to influence product decisions, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for product improvements.

What (we think) you need to be successful - we're open to not checking all the boxes and be proven wrong by outlier candidates as well

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience
  • Startup hustle and speed: You're able to work hard, move fast, can adjust to a dynamic environment and sell to complex organizations and technical customers.
  • Ability to learn on the job, learn fast, and have strong curiosity for the industry and a desire to self-educate to become the expert on auctions, retail media, and marketplace monetization.
  • Team Player: Lone-wolf style tech is from the past; at Topsort, it's about being a sports team that achieves goals together.
  • Experience with Database systems, SQL and python.
  • Work onsite at our Santiago office 4 days a week, ability to travel domestically and internationally for industry events and client visits.
