Senior Software Engineer – Enterprise (ATS Integrations) As a Senior Software Engineer at Checkr, you will work on high impact engineering projects that help build a fairer future for all. Checkr is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Enterprise group, working on building integrations to Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Our team’s mission is to bring features to customers using a wide variety of ATS Systems. We are experts who build the best user experience in integrations. We work with developers and architects to connect complex software systems. What you’ll do: Learn about ATS Systems and how they interact with Checkr Build new features for ATS integrations and test them Communicate with internal and external developers to build solutions that improve their productivity Define requirements to grow Checkr’s public APIs to cover new and existing product features Help identify, triage and solve bugs What you bring: A strong sense of ownership Familiarity building and using different types of APIs, for example ReST, SOAP, gRPC Knowledge object oriented programming language, preferably Ruby, Java, or Python Curiosity in figuring out how to deliver clean, robust and scalable code Experience with at least one or more of the following: CI/CD tools, microservices, infrastructure services (Publish‑subscribe systems, API Gateways, RPC frameworks, high‑level testing strategies), or open source software Understanding how to build reliable distributed systems and can discuss tradeoffs in depth Strong communicator and can build agreement between groups of people with different levels of technical expertise Advanced English Speaking Proficiency Pay Transparency Disclosure One of Checkr’s core values is Transparency.
