Our client is looking for an Application Engineer , an IT specialist who will use his/her expertise to design, implement, and operate technologies and information systems according to digitalization demands, ensuring structured growth of the enterprise architecture within the company. Application Engineer Competences Six (6) years of experience designing, implementing, and operating technologies and information systems, preferably in global organizations. Demonstrated ability to work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Experience in Microsoft Azure services beyond basic IaaS functionality and proven knowledge of DevOps platforms like GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Azure DevOps, Selenium, Jira & Confluence. Expertise in all phases of the software development life cycle and solution delivery for web, client-server, and cloud-based systems. Ability to embrace, use, and promote modern development practices (DevOps, Agile, CI/CD, cloud-native design, release pipelines, and code-driven workflows). Foundational infrastructure skills, including architecture principles and design patterns of distributed systems in private and public cloud. Skilled in modern software architecture, scalability, reliability, RESTful APIs, and their use in the cloud. Thorough understanding of relational databases (Azure SQL, MS-SQL). Technical, hands-on knowledge of various high-level programming languages, preferably C#, Python, JavaScript. Growth from a Full-Stack Developer to a Senior Developer and ultimately an Architect within the Microsoft technology stack. Cloud certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400 are desirable. Ensure all aspects of new systems, including technology, applications, and data, comply with standards. Ensure applications, processes, and interfaces are scalable, reliable, modular, flexible, secure, and manageable. Support digitalization projects in coordination with business users, suppliers, and IT teams, ensuring scope, time, quality, and cost are met. Ensure proper transfer to operations for optimized support from the Service Desk Team. Coordinate with suppliers to support IT solutions in operation. Translate architecture principles into solution architecture and engineering products/solutions. Create documentation such as RFPs, presentations, end-user guides, service quality reports, and status reports. Undertake any other duties as required.
