Job Summary:

We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quant Trader to join our growing trading team. In this role, you will assist in developing and executing quantitative trading strategies for crypto spot and derivatives markets, while learning from experienced professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, gaining hands-on experience in market analysis, algorithmic trading, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Implementation: Assist in the development, testing, and execution of quantitative trading strategies for spot and perpetual futures markets.
2. Market Monitoring: Monitor market conditions, trading positions, and portfolio performance in real-time.
3. Data Analysis: Perform statistical analysis on historical and live market data to identify opportunities and optimize strategies.
4. Tool Development: Collaborate with quantitative developers to improve trading infrastructure, tools, and analytics.
5. Risk Management: Support the team in monitoring trading risks and ensuring strategies align with the platform's risk management framework.
6. Trade Execution: Execute and track trades, ensuring alignment with strategy objectives.
7. Learning and Growth: Stay updated on market trends, learn from senior traders, and continuously improve your quantitative and trading skills.
8. Providing coverage for US Central or Eastern time zones.

Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
2. Programming: Basic proficiency in Python; experience with libraries like NumPy, pandas, or similar is a plus.
3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
4. Market Understanding: Basic understanding of cryptocurrency markets and trading principles.
5. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
6. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and take direction from senior traders.
7. Ability to work on US Central or Eastern time zones.
