Position: Supporting Documentation Specialist Location: San Antonio, TX Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (On call after training) THE POSITION We are looking for a full time Supporting Documentation Specialist to join our exceptional customer service team who is committed to helping our patients thrive. Our Customer Service department is a fast-paced, high-energy environment and you’ll find yourself challenged and required to use critical thinking every day through a variety of in-person, email and phone conversations. You will also be surrounded by a close-knit and supportive group who all have the same dedication to serving medically complex children and their families. Obtaining prior authorizations and statements of medical necessity Maintaining of patient records Patient supply & service orders Collaborate with referrals to create and streamline supporting documentation Ensure accuracy of supporting documentation to meet compliance and regulatory requirements THE QUALIFICATIONS Durable medical equipment (DME) intake/ admissions experience preferred Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills. A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required. Experience in Brightree EHR a plus Experience in obtaining title 19 with health care providers THE COMPANY Pediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high quality DME and nursing services to children that are medically fragile since 1990.
