Team

Middle Office (MO) is responsible for assisting the corporate, investment bankers, MarketSales and their product partners with onboarding and ongoing client maintenance activities.

The main objective of the team is to focus on and improve the client experience which includes the whole KYC process, regulatory & controls and client management, being the focal point of contact for internal and external clients.


Position Objective

  • Primary point of contact for bankers of the Global Corporate Bank (GCB), Market Sales and the Investment Bank (IB) as well as product partners such as Treasury Service (TS) Managers regarding all matters related to the KYC program, for Peruvian an Chilean markets.
  • Coordination and endtoend management of new client onboardings in partnership with the Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) support team
  • Oversight of periodic KYC renewals
  • Client outreach to collect documents, when required
  • Participate in policy initiatives and process improvements
  • Focus on risk and controls
  • Coordinate and prepare for due diligence process related to specific transactions or internal regulatory committees
  • Facilitation of operational client and business queries
  • Oversight of client coverage and strategic planning of client lists
  • Provide transparency on overall process and progress
  • Collaborate with business and support functions to spread and leverage best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability and drive to take full ownership of processes
  • Strong partnership and coordination skills
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Proactive/selfstarter with the ability to deliver valueadded support to business partners and clients in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
  • Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to resolution
  • Deliver results in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
