As Project Manager (PM), you are part of our Sales Operations Team and responsible to be the main key contact from Industry in all matters related to the project sold and the customer contact and communication, controlling and managing the installation schedule, and technical support for the customers (end-to-end installation process).


Marel's customer span from smaller plants with only one or a few Marel machines up to full processing plants with millions of Euros daily revenue.

Same for all our customers is that when they need us, we are there for them.

In this position, you will be reporting to the Regional Project Management.

Location based in Marel Chile - Santiago or Puerto Montt.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Daily contact with Marel's Back Office of Brazil, Iceland, Denmark, USA, Netherlands;
  • Contact with customers in Latin America;
  • Organization of projects: Planning the team and resources;
  • Followup of the projects in direct contact with customers and within Marel ́s areas;
  • Execute visits to customer for project clarification and inspections;
  • Provide technical information for customer;
  • Plan and prepare meetings in order to follow up the project progress;
  • Organize and plan the equipment tests required by Sales Department.
You will work with a Team in different countries of Latam.

To be successful as and
Project Manager, you:

  • Need a bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronic engineering, or similar;
  • Relevant experience in Project Management;
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD.
  • Desirable experience in Food Service at a slaughterhouse;
  • Excellent communicator;
  • Advanced English language is mandatory ADD ENGLISH RESUME DURING THE APPLICATION;
  • The main responsibilities include managing projects and direct support to the customers with availability for national and international trips up to 70 % of the time;
  • Hybrid position (03 days Office / 02 Home-Office).
