Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure the reliability and performance of systems.
  • Design and implement automated monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on users.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code for deployment and configuration management.
  • Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning for infrastructure components.
  • Participate in oncall rotation and respond to production issues.
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of scalable and faulttolerant systems.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in site reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code concepts and tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in infrastructure design.
  • Previous experience with incident response and postincident analysis.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator).
