The Position

As Institutional Medical Manager Diabetes & Obesity, you will be responsible for medical strategy and execution of Institutional BU portfolio (Diabetes & Obesity) in Chile in alignment with commercial strategy.

Main responsibilities:

• Medical Guidance: Ensure the Institutional BU alignment and capabilities in dissemination of Diabetes & obesity therapies in public market, coordinating with respective diabetes and obesity medical managers
• Medical Education: Develop the medicalscientific content of medical education programs and disseminate information to health care professionals in public market, visiting public Institutions in Chile, requiring availability to travel
• KOL engagement: Identify and develop a collaborative plan with key opinion leaders in public market
• Publication Planning: Contribute to the plan of scientific publications at local level with focus on public market
• Marketing material review and approval, and helping in creating new materials when needed; Understand patient journey and obtain relevant medical insights to guide value proposition and define scientific communication plan through interactions with Health care providers (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree; Desirable specialization in the therapeutic area or related; Clinical experience chronic diseases, ideally Diabetes, Obesity and related therapeutic areas
• Fluent English & Spanish
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry over one year
• Experience in medical education / presentations at medical conferences
• Good understanding of the Chilean Public Health Care system
