Supply Chain and Procurement professionals at Bechtel help make this happen through various avenues, including Procurement/Purchasing, Contracts & Subcontracts, Inventory & Warehouse Management, and Logistics.
Our Workforce Services central team, Mining & Metal Business Unit, is looking for Student Interns for our Santiago office, to join the function between September to December.
As a member of this team, you will contribute to Processes and Systems scope in the setup and technical support for our projects in Chile and Peru.
About Worforce Services
Workforce Services is integral to successful project planning and construction execution.
Through the design and implementation of project Workforce Services strategy, procedures, and processes, we create, in collaboration with Construction, an organizational framework through which desired craft workforce outcomes are realized with a high degree of certainty.
We emphasize planning to optimize craft performance whilst mitigating industrial risk. We align the craft workforce with the project's safety, time, cost, and quality goals.Workforce Services disciplines include craft:
recruitment, employee relations and performance, training and development, and logistics (accommodations, security & transportation).
Workforce Services promotes a strategic approach to the planning, organization, and management of construction craft workforce and related services. Consequently, we are involved in projects' planning and execution phases.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing training materials and documenting processes.
- General data maintenance for systems as required (templates, flowcharts, databases, others)
- Technical support backup monitoring, solving questions and requests to systems users mainly Applicant Tracking Systems or another system in which support is required.
- Supporting testing for systems enhancements as required
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor program in Business Administration, Management Control, Systems or related Business degree from an accredited Chilean University.
- Right to work and remain in Chile without sponsorship
- Eligible for an internship work in Chile university support documentation will be a mandatory requirement.
- Intermediate / Advanced English skills (mandatory)
- Full availability during internship extension 3 to 4 months
