The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a(n) Medical Education Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Designing and executing "bestinclass" Area, regional and country medical education programs with the goal of educating HCPs on the safe and effective use of 3M Healthcare Solutions.
• Utilizing advanced project management skills to develop program project plans inclusive of timelines, budget, scope, and resources as well as ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
• Developing and owning relationships with key opinion leaders and key decision makers and strategically leverage these relationships to advance messaging, impact, and influence.
• Driving continuous process improvement and ongoing enhancement of program formats, agendas, logistics, using meaningful measures of success to drive decisions.
• Developing and fostering strong relationships with key internal partners to ensure continuous alignment and drive impactful results.
• Leveraging knowledge of preclinical, clinical, and economic data, techniques, and healthcare dynamics in assigned regions; maintain current understanding of general trends in medicine and peertopeer education
• Demonstrating a strong commitment to both corporate and Global Medical Sciences (GMS) operations, principles, and values. Enthusiastically and actively championing the value of medical education and GMS and how it contributes to the success of the organization.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M Healthcare requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Three years of experience in peertopeer medical education, with significant inhouse (nonagency) experience in a private, public or government
• Advanced written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Advanced degree in business, science, or healthcare field
• Familiarity with wound care space

• Experience working in a matrix organization and with diversified cultures
• Strong understanding of Health Care Compliance and regulatory guidelines related to medical education, with a strong knowledge of guidelines around Health Care Professionals interactions and navigating any atrisk scenarios to minimize risk to the company
