Involves handling packages within an operation including manual handling, sort activities, screening, and completing any related administration or paperwork.

Overview of the Job:
Under general supervision performs the following activities:

• Organizes and ensures the safety of packages.

• Manages pickups, processes orders, handles company cargo, and oversees returns.

• Verifies package details such as labeling, content legality, weight, size, wrapping, and special requirements for hazardous shipments.

• Prepares essential paperwork like airway bills and delivery records accurately.

• Communicates changes in customer/competitor activities to the Station Ops. Manager and Sales team.

• Safely loads and unloads company vehicles.

• Conducts package audits for size and weight, and organizes them accordingly.

• Strictly adheres to safety procedures and regulations.

• Scans and categorizes packages effectively.

• May have additional responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of Middle School or equivalent education.

Experience:

• Preferred experience in ramp and warehouse equipment operation.

Key Skills Required:

• Ability to lift and handle packages of varying weights.

• Flexibility to work different shifts.

• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and familiarity with power and hand tools.

• Successful completion of various skill tests.

• Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, planning, organizing, problem-solving, and teamwork.
