Therefore, the Intern will work with the Services Sales teams and internal commercial stakeholders to ensure a harmonized and integrated approach to all customer touch points across the quote to contract process - for the benefit of our customers.


What you'll do:

SAP iXp Intern - Services Sales Support

Location:
Santiago, Chile

Duration: 6 months or more

In this role, as an Intern in the team you'll:

Have responsibilities to process and/or develop consulting and/or education opportunities in existing SAP clients using SAP tools, processes and networking with Services Stakeholders.

Contribute to revenue growth and profitability by processing profitable services sales in existing customers and achieve targets.

Be responsible for end-to-end deal processing related to customer opportunities.

Key Tasks:

  • Works with a cross functional team processing Q2C relevant functions from portfolio, sales enablement, presales, delivery operations, Legal, regional controlling, GFSS, and sales operations.
  • Works as a trusted advisor to the Services Account Managers (SAM also known as SAE) to drive deal velocity, value and volume with a focus on compliance and standardization of tools and processes
  • Works with/ or acts as the Services Account Manager (SAE) within the customer account, support the overall relationship between the customer, the partners and SAP to ensure all opportunities are maximized and sales bids are successful.
  • Seek continuous improvement to simplify process, order forms, pricing
  • Process customer service requests by selling small deals and completing the required paperwork
  • Comply with operational procedures e.g. for sales, delivery, financial and legal requirements
  • Become expert with SAP Services Sales tools and processes related to Internal Orders, Opportunities, Pricing, Quotations, Order Forms and Resource Requests.

Who you are:

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Must be a current University student, preferably end of 2023 onwards
  • Fluency in English and a second local language (written and oral)
  • Professional Training & Certification: Advanced level of sales training, clevel communication, advanced negotiation skills, etc.
  • Comfortable working across different cultures
  • Ability to "Think out of the box" and work in a frequently changing workplace
- "Customer service" oriented and comfortable working in a matrix or complex structure

  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Enjoys detailoriented tasks

  • Experience in the following is a plus:
  • Sales support, pricing, and services quote to contract process experience
  • Proven success with sales motions, campaigns, and a sense of urgency to maximize achievement
  • Understand ONEService Contract framework with implications of fixed price vs T&M projects
  • Fluency with commercial tools: CRF, CMS, DocuSign, CST Calculator, CRM and Harmony
  • Familiar with global and regional DOA, legal process requirements, and assertive to influence sales compliance measures
  • Experience of software sales and services is a distinct advantage as is a knowledge of SAP's software and services.
  • Proven ability in working with a virtual global team
