What we need

Shutterstock Studios is seeking an Executive Producer to lead our XR (Extended Reality) and traditional production pipeline in the Americas.

This role will have oversight of our custom services for agency and direct-to-brand XR work and will run point on strategy for in-market capabilities/services and growth outside the US, mainly in LATAM and Canada.

As Executive Producer of XR, your focus will be to elevate and push the boundaries of our Studios offerings and to partner with other senior leadership to pitch, bid, and execute on the highest level of commercial production work across a wide brand portfolio.

You will be responsible for putting forward proposals and creative pitches that meet and exceed client expectations, as well as competitive and scalable production pricing, plus director and crew recommendations, that fit the brief.

This is an opportunity to be the lead in building out the strategy for our expanded virtual production & XR offering, and developing our brand voice for a production studio that has massive ambitions to be a leading content creator across branded/commercial/original content and video/3D/immersive

The day to day:

• Exceed expectations to deliver creative excellence by pushing for great work from the start of every project
• Oversee pricing and packaging of the pitch to put forward the strongest bid and proposal possible to help secure production revenues and new business opportunities
• Lead client calls and partner with the creative team to develop ideas that aligns with the creative brief
• Put forward talent recommendations (directors, crews, animators, etc.) as part of the presale process to further enable and secure the opportunity
• Brief talent/crews and further build out the studio rolodex of top talent
• Take creative feedback from multiple sources and sort out how to address it, directly or indirectly, for the benefit of the work
• Think strategically around how to develop the Studios XR product and offering further how we can unlock more opportunities with new ways of thinking
• Cultivate a culture of highvolume creativity matched with competitive & scalable pricing
• Oversee all production in post sale to deliver creative excellence and an excellent client experience
• Stay aware of the XR industry globally, with a finger on the pulse for identifying up and coming talent and processes

What you'll bring to the role:

• Minimum of 8 years experience in production, with at least 3 years of experience in best in-class commercial production & branded content, at either an XR or live-action studio, agency, brand, publisher or media company
• Fluent in Spanish with extensive production experience in LATAM markets, primarily Mexico City
• Can point to a portfolio of work that scales from low to high budget executions for global brands
• Have a passion for innovation and love developing ideas and pitching to clients
• Knowledge of production and on-set experience
• Experience working in a start-up environment and a love of building things
• A passion and hunger for all things art and culture
