Our mission is to train people from all backgrounds in coding, data and product skills, give them the best learning experience of their life, and help them accelerate in their career.
We also help companies become more data-driven by leveraging their data and unlocking their employees' potential through corporate training.
Founded in Paris in 2013, Le Wagon now has campuses in +40 cities across 25 countries, including global tech hubs such as Berlin, London, Tokyo, Shanghai, Singapore, and São Paulo.
To support our
operations and growth in Santiago, we are now looking for driven and hands-on Events & Community to nurture our students on a daily basis, run community and marketing events, and implement local initiatives to showcase our brand and courses in the city.
Working closely with the local City Manager, with the support of the Regional Marketing team, you will play a key role in
activating the local Le Wagon community - including students, alumni, leads, and partners - while creating a welcoming learning atmosphere at our campus.
You will also design local growth campaigns, leveraging impactful
event planning and execution and
inspiring city-level content, so that we can help more and more students in kick-starting their tech careers, become freelancers or launch their own startups.
Role responsibilities
-
Engage the unique Le Wagon students and community
- Support the local daily operations via:
- Batch preparation (eg. campus setup and improvement, welcome kits);
- Ongoing student nurturing (eg. surprises, celebrations, 1:1 motivational talks);
- Plan and deliver the
community events calendar for the current students (eg. tech talks, lunch & learns, teambuilding, icebreakers, social events); - Collaborate in the delivery of
Career Week talks, namely by organizing and hosting local talks with great alumni, inspiring speakers, and Hiring Partners; - Engage frequently with the
alumni community via tailored events (eg. after classes) and communications (eg. Slack messages, newsletter).
Promote, host or support partner to host marketing events to showcase Le Wagon
- Build local marketing partnerships and ensure the proper preparation of the events (eg. speaker management, content validation, technical setup, food, and drinks);
- Promote and
host marketing events to showcase Le Wagon in the city and generate/reactivate prospective students (eg. workshops, talks, networking); - Document results and implement
event followup communications with clear calltoactions, in perfect alignment with the Regional Marketing and Admissions teams; - Manage the
tools and platforms needed for event communication (eg. Eventbrite, MeetUp), execution (eg. Zoom, Livestorm), and analysis (eg. Typeform, Hubspot).
Collaborate on the local marketing plan design, execution, and reporting
- Participate in the definition of the regional and local marketing strategy, working directly with the Regional Marketing Lead and City Manager;
- Design a quarterly growth campaign to increase the number of students in your city, following the defined strategy, tactical areas of focus, and available budget;
- Execute the plan, including the creation of exciting content about Le Wagon and its diffusion on all local channels (ie. social media, blog, event platforms, and partners);
- Report on the execution of your initiatives and resulting KPIs.
- Participate in LatAm events to brand awareness
- Manage Social Media accounts, creating engagement form the community
