Presales Technical Engineer working with an assigned account executive as part of a technical team supporting healthcare, State and Local, ad Higher Education customers.

Tell the Veritas Story, Show customers how Veritas technologies work, Prove the value of Veritas Products, and assist in Technically closing opportunities in partnership with the Account Executives in your assigned district.


SCOPE OF ROLE:


Provide assistance and support to the Account manager is progressing customer opportunities through the sales process by monitoring opportunity Technical Decision Status.

Act as a trusted advisor to the customer on matters regarding Information management and infrastructure deployment as relates to three critical Veritas product areas:
Information Insight/Governance, Information Protection, and Information Availability as part of our 360 Data Management Strategy.

Be able to Tell the Veritas story, Show the relevance of product, Prove the applicability to the customer mission/business issue, Coordinate and Demonstrate Value of the product, and gain Technical Acceptance/Closure with the Technical Decision Maker.

This role is focused on working with a set of assigned accounts and Sale Executives to obtain closure and manage technical risk on new Information Management business.
