In this role, this LCT Leader will be responsible for CHAR region (Chile and Argentina) full performance of all HCS transactions, reporting directly to LATAM CEO.


Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Be the primary accountable GE employee for the LCT, including being statutory representative of one of the two legal entities. Represent GEHC in local industry associations and institutions, helping to shape governance, policies and standards. Manage professional relations with government & agencies. Hold cross functional team accountable for needed actions to ensure legal entity sustainability.
  • Own GE HC customers acting act as a primary point of contact in the market, for all modalities, services and functions, driving sustainable growth and customer satisfaction for imaging, ultrasound, PCS, OneDigital and Services.
  • Horizontally drive LCT through operating mechanisms towards GE priorities, leading the alignment and coordination of all functions and areas that have direct and indirect impact in the LCT activities.
  • Responsible to guarantee One GE Healthcare approach in multimodality projects and cross P&L business and ultimately accountable for issue resolution.
  • In conjunction with product and marketing teams, actively identify & drive boundaryless selling opportunities within the countries. Promote Service offerings, identify and escalates commercial service needs and ensure proper attention is given to the needed matters.
  • Ensure right selection, training and development of the local organization as a whole, optimizing team effectiveness.
  • Develop initiatives to drive organic growth in all HCS portfolio, constantly revisiting Go to Market strategy to ensure effective coverage and business sustainability.
  • Participate in the creation of the annual budget and execute planned actions to deliver plan being the local driver to ensure company's and segment strategy is deployed seamlessly into the LCT.
  • Interact with Key Opinion Leaders in care areas.
  • Cultivate and leverage longterm customer relationships at the executive level for private and public sectors, including foreign contacts such as packagers, collaborating in Chile with the CALA PPP & Special Projects leader.
  • Deploy resources to meet financial / operating objectives including orders, revenue, contribution margin, collections and cost management. Be accountable for the P&L of both countries as a whole.
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality standards and applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 10 years Healthcare capital equipment sales experience and or Pharma and Life science.
  • Experience managing packagers and big international healthcare groups (such as DASA, Eductrade, Banmedica, BUPA, Christus Health, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Argentina and Chile.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working for a large company in a matrix environment.
  • International network including decision takers on large groups.
  • Experience on technical, clinical or product roles in Healthcare industry.
