Role Overview:
The company is looking for a strategic and collaborative Business Development Manager to join its dynamic team. This role focuses on promoting sales in the mining sector, expanding the customer portfolio, and increasing penetration with existing customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting a clear and straightforward business plan to achieve challenging goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for the mining sector. Identify and address sector-specific technical, commercial, and logistic needs. Acquire new customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers. Maintain regular communication with the global sales team to monitor and enhance customer satisfaction. Advise the company on strategic activities related to products and processes based on sector needs and developments.Education:
College or University degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.Professional Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of technical sales experience in B2B companies within the mining sector, ideally involving products similar to speed gear units (e.g., electric motors, couplings, pumps). Experience/knowledge in the Power Transmission Heavy/Mining Industry preferred. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.Candidates who are ambitious and experienced with a passion for business development in the mining sector are encouraged to apply.
