**You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to**:This position is part of the AMPA (Americas and the Pacific) Regional leadership team and reports to the HR Director of the region. This role is responsible to supervise, plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative and strategic topics of the human resources department in the assigned region including but not limited to compliance, Organization Development, Safety, and internal communications. It will also provide, when needed, support to the employees of the Andean Countries
- Oversee and implement the administration of Human Resources policies, programs, and practices that meet the needs of HM.CLAUSE and that comply with the countries of South America and local laws.
- Supervise the HR teams in Chile and HRBPs in Brazil and Peru.
- Provide strong partnership with all functions, especially Finance, in relation to HR activities.
- Ensure local regulatory compliance with state and federal laws in all subsidiaries within the scope of the role. Respond to questions and requests from governmental agencies and represent the company at hearings when needed.
- Following the guidelines established by the HR corporate team, develop and implement training and development initiatives to address current capabilities and future training needs, including new hire orientation, on-boarding, on-the-job operational training, department special training, and management development.
- Coordinate the organizational development process in the countries under the scope of this role, addressing issues such as succession planning, workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, workflow efficiency, and change management.
- Ensure the performance appraisal process and the evaluations for all subsidiaries of South America follow the AMPA corporate process and are submitted on time.
- Ensure that the compensation system is aligned with the organization's overall compensation philosophy, following the AMPA region's guidelines and maintaining internal equity while providing an effective tool to attract and retain talent.
- Ensure that the payroll processes and systems are sound and compliant with local regulations.
- Oversee the development, analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required for all HM.CLAUSE locations within the scope, including recruitment, employee relations, safety, regulatory compliance, and management reporting.
- Respond to inquiries about policies, procedures, and programs. Investigate, document, and advise management on employee relations issues and guide the necessary corrective actions.
- Develop strong working relationships with management and staff; provide advice, guidance, and direction as needed.
- Support mobility processes and visas for the employment of foreign citizens, including the processing of permanent residents as necessary.
- Deploy, facilitate, and coordinate locally the activities, information and programs related to human resources established by the corporate offices.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- The HR Manager will directly supervise the HR team in South America. This position will have between 4-6 direct reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is required; MHRM or MBA is preferred
- Minimum six years progressive Human Resources experience, with at least three years at a managerial level
- Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, safety, employee engagement, and employee development.
- Above average written and spoken communication skills in both English and Spanish. Portuguese and French are a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team that provides overall company leadership and direction.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel and skills in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
