Senior Warehouse Operations Representative

Responsible for material shipping, receiving and processing according to company policies and procedures. Ensures the orderly stocking and efficient flow of both inbound and outbound materials / equipment. Maintains and updates required documentation / reporting as shipments are received, cancelled or back ordered. Ensures documentation is up-to-date and reflective of material orders, deliveries, storage and distribution.
- Performs all Manufacturing Warehouse Operations Coordinator duties plus: Monitors handling of incoming material / shipments to ensure cost effective and operationally efficient space management.
- Monitors outgoing shipments and handling to ensure utilization of the most economic carriers / shipping methods.
- Monitors operations to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are effectively handled / packed / organized to ensure on time processing.
- Monitors Manufacturing Warehouse Operations to ensure all employees, visitors, contract / carrier personnel, etc.
- , understand and adhere to safety requirements.
- Prepares and performs annual or other required physical inventory.
- Scraps material as directed by Material Analysts.
- Responds to issues and problems, seeking quick and timely resolution.
- Monitors reports and documentation for trends and opportunities for cost / efficiency improvement.
- Prepares status and progress reports for management.
Required Qualifications
- Education or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Manufacturing Warehouse Operations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
