Chief Accountant

Your job as Chief Accountant at Rijk Zwaan Chile

As Chief Accountant you will report to the Managing Director Finance/HR of Rijk Zwaan Chile. You will supervise all daily financial and accounting activities in Chile supporting through reports and data analysis the Management with the decision making. In this role you will be in contact with commercial and production colleagues converting their activities in financial information. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing the Budget and evaluate the accomplishment.
- Preparing monthly end closing and reports.
- Preparing the financial statements, reports and tax declarations.
- Maintaining financial records and statements to ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
- Processing and following up payments, including debtor’s collections.

- A University degree in Financial Studies or Accounting.
- At least 5-years relevant experience in a comparable job.
- Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in accordance with the Chilean legislation.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
