**Job Description and Requirements**

**Summary**:Responsible for providing information security services to employees by responding to information security support requests and resolving issues related to information security tools, perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques, and determine best solution for resolution.**Responsibilities**:include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide help desk support for employees submitting Information Security service request tickets.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, performs diagnostics, and resolves security tooling issues.
- Review and approve SSL and Code Signing certificate requests
- Review Firewall and DNS exception requests to ensure all details are provided before escalating for approval
- Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support
- Document all issues and resolutions
- Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates to company assets and security tools
- Review and gain full knowledge and understanding of Synopsys’s information security policies

- Two years of IT Security experience.
- College coursework or specialized training in Information Security and/or networking is desired.
- Security+, Net+, or equivalent certification/training Certifications in the field of IT Support or Cyber Security preferred.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the inner working of Windows, Mac, and Linux Operating Systems
- Hands on experience with network and endpoint protection tools like, but not limited to, AV, EDR, DLP, FW.
- Experience with ticketing systems like Remedy or ServiceNow
- Must have a basic understanding of the integration and interworking of various data processing functions.

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**
- Must possess a strong customer service orientation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and communicate effectively and tactfully, orally and in writing with employees, customers, vendors and management.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Must understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to maintain a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude when working with customers or co-workers under diverse conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Fluent in writing, reading & speaking English.
