Transforming the Future of Agriculture

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly motivated Global Population Development Lead to join our Research and Development facility in Arica, Chile. This exciting opportunity is part of our journey to build the future of agriculture, driving breakthroughs in innovation and science to better the lives of people worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Population Development strategy, aligning with site leadership and workforce capabilities.
  • Execute production by leading a team of professionals, guiding performance and compliance.
  • Ensure data collection processes are standardized, efficient, and effective across processes and sites.
  • Track workload and participate in creating global reports within the TI/PD group.
  • Analyze production data to control variables, adjust processes, and meet delivery and budget goals.
  • Evaluate capital investment needs and monitor execution with site leadership.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Arica Population Development activities and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the TI/PD Global Coordinator and breeders to strategize production coordination.
  • Implement strategies to improve production and processes, driving innovation and creativity within the Population Development program.
  • Ensure Corteva Agriscience Management System (CAMS) and Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S) policies are followed.
