Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Santiago, Chile. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer engagement, identifying and qualifying opportunities, and growing business with existing and prospective customers in the mining industry.

About the Role

The Senior Business Development Manager will be required to:

  • Manage client relationships to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customer expectations are consistently met.
  • Develop account plans that align customer strategies with RPM's solutions and value propositions.
  • Cultivate sales pipelines by uncovering new opportunities, following up on leads, and managing the existing customer base.
  • Communicate and present RPM's integrated software solutions to a variety of business stakeholders, industry contacts, and business partners.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management in large, matrixed organisations and experience selling software into complex accounts, preferably in the mining industry. They will also have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a high degree of self-motivation to succeed and grow the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing or sales.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior business development role, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding customer relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • High level knowledge of software development methodologies and enterprise technology solutions.
