Ward Officer

We are seeking a Ward Officer to support the Wynnum Manly Ward Office in delivering excellent customer service and office administration to residents and the wider community. This role will be based at the Wynnum Manly Ward Office, four days a week with some flexibility in start and finish times.

As the Ward Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all in-person, telephone and email enquiries and have a professional and welcoming demeanour. You will need to possess excellent administration and organisational skills, as well as knowledge of the local area.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• A welcoming and professional demeanour
• Knowledge of the local Wynnum Manly area
• Ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced office environment

This is a temporary part-time position (4 days per week) with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal History Check.
