Farm Manager SA is seeking a highly experienced Senior International Sales Director to lead our international sales operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing export strategies to expand our market presence in Latin America, the USA, the Middle East, and Europe.

About the Role:

This role involves overseeing the entire export process, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company standards. You will work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute export strategies to increase market share in designated regions.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners.
  3. Oversee export operations, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company standards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products.
  5. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and potential risks.
  6. Mentor junior sales assistants, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  7. Prepare and present regular reports on export performance, sales metrics, and market insights to the VP.
  8. Attend industry events and meetings to promote our products and explore new business prospects.
Requirements:
  1. A bachelor's degree in any field; a degree related to business or agriculture is a plus.
  2. 15-20 years of experience in export management, with a strong focus on fruits (apples, kiwis, pears).
  3. A proven track record of successful international sales and market expansion.
  4. In-depth knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and logistics.
  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. The ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
  8. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
