As a leader in the animal nutrition and aquafeed industry, Nutreco offers a unique opportunity to oversee payroll operations across the LATAM region. This key leadership role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.

We are seeking an experienced LATAM Payroll Team Lead to join our dynamic team at Nutreco. In this position, you will lead a talented team of payroll professionals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and ensure smooth operation of payroll systems.

About The Role
  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage and mentor a team of payroll specialists across LATAM, ensuring efficient and compliant payroll processing.
    • Oversee payroll processing, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, taxes, and deductions, in compliance with local labor laws.
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations across LATAM, managing statutory filings and regulatory reporting.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline payroll processes, increase accuracy, and enhance efficiency.
    • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to resolve payroll-related inquiries and address issues.
    • Oversight of payroll system optimization, ensuring effective operation and alignment with company policies.

Requirements

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
    • Payroll certification is a plus.
    • Fluency in Spanish and English is required; Portuguese is a plus.
    • Expertise in LATAM payroll, tax, and social security regulations.
    • Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.
