SQL Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support and develop market risk applications for one top financial institution in US. You will join a global team of professionals providing services to major clients in the financial industry. Key Responsibilities Write database code using SQL Server, as well as Python scripts independently. Develop and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages. Provide support for market risk applications, including monitoring, incident resolution, and problem management. Manage data pipelines and scheduled jobs. Handle business-critical incidents, including stakeholder communication and post-incident reviews. Document operational procedures, workflows, and technical solutions. Core Competencies Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken). Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote global team. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in production support L2, preferably in financial services or risk management, ideally in Market Risk. Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of relational/dimensional databases and data warehouses. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and development of store procedures. Good understanding of ETL/ELT and DWH concepts with hands on experience using ETL/ELT Python pipelines. Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Tidal, DataBricks, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory. Experience documenting operational design flows and processes. Exposure to tools like GIT, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence is a plus. Why join Evalueserve?
